Preserve and advance not only women's rights, but human rights.
We are working for a brighter future.
Women won the right to vote -
BUT women are still waiting for:
Equal Pay for Equal Work,
Right to Privacy,
Right to Safety,
Right to Justice under the Law,
And Healthcare self - determination.
Support our important work by donating.
We are Women Colorado believes women's rights are
fundamental human rights.
We are committed to social justice and equality for all.
We are also committed to becoming a sustaining
organization for social welfare and education.
We are in the process of becoming a
not for profit 501(c)3 organization to enable
our position as a community partner for
women's rights and justice.
Issues facing women include: representation of women in advertising
and film, rape culture, victim shaming and blaming, pay inequality,
job discrimination, workplace sexual harassment, domestic violence,
eating disorders, rampant sexism, human trafficking, reproduction
rights, teen dating violence, breast and ovarian cancer,
high maternal mortality rates, and more.
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities and an open Board position.
